Celebrities with Bipolar – Halsey

Today, we’ll be exploring another celebrity with bipolar disorder. This series has become extremely popular over the last few months because it shows how living with bipolar does not limit your success in life. You can achieve a great level of success if you learn how to manage bipolar successfully. I’ve been a true believer in this philosophy, and that your only limitation is you. Every limitation is a barrier created in our minds, and learning how to control limiting beliefs will change your life. This is no more evident than when reading about celebrities who have achieved popularity, financial freedom, and stability by not letting anything slow them down – especially bipolar disorder.

Today, we’ll be exploring Halsey whose real name is Ashley Nicolette Frangipane. She was diagnosed with bipolar at the age of 16-17, then went through financial difficulties for a certain period afterward. Halsey’s passion for music became her way out; allowing her to manage bipolar disorder, and expressing her thoughts through the music she wrote.

Celebrities with Bipolar – Jean-Claude Van Damme

Welcome to another addition of Celebrities with Bipolar Disorder.

I started this series to show all of you with bipolar we’re no different than anyone else. It doesn’t discriminate, and effects everyone equally. For a longtime, I felt bipolar only affected those who weren’t successful or hadn’t figured out their vision or purpose. As a matter of fact, this is something common I’ve heard from a majority of people who are living with a mental illness. So, I wanted to answer this question because I think it will serve as motivation for everyone. Well, I’m not sure if it does for you, but it does for me. Why?

I’ve always looked up to people who are successful because of their drive, passion, and confidence. I believe these three factors are the most important if you want to achieve the highest level of success. Celebrities continue to achieve a great level of success while living with bipolar disorder. Some continue to do great things and have become leaders in the fight to increase bipolar awareness.

With that said,

Celebrities with Bipolar – Chris Brown

This is a series I started several months ago that has received a lot of traction from readers. It’s been a while since I’ve written about a celebrity living with bipolar. I started this series to help all of you understand that bipolar disorder doesn’t discriminate and can affect anyone. We often look at celebrities as having it all – money, happiness, cars, big homes, and a great social life. I’ll admit, until recently I was someone who looked at celebrities as being immune to mental illnesses. Why? Because when I first got diagnosed I believed living with bipolar disorder meant your success was limited. So, since celebrities were so successful, none of them could have a mental disorder. But, I was wrong. Because, as I’ve learned, even celebrities are human beings; bipolar doesn’t discriminate, affecting everyone equally.

In the end, I put this series together to show all of you that even when living with bipolar you can conquer all your dreams. It doesn’t have to stop you from working towards what you believe in and making a positive change in your life. If you’ve read my previous posts on celebrities like Demi Lovato, Carrie Fisher, and Russell Brand, you’ll know how they use their popularity to increase bipolar awareness, and to illustrate how bipolar disorder can be a tool to make positive changes to help conquer large dreams. For example, bipolar disorder has helped Russell Brand to stop abusing drugs, and Demi Lovato to come up with constructive ways to handle stress and anxiety.

Celebrities with Bipolar – Catherine Zeta-Jones

This is another great addition to my content on “Celebrities with Bipolar”. If you’re just joining us, then I would encourage you to go back through all the other celebrities I’ve written about. My goal is to show all of you that bipolar doesn’t discriminate and even those with money, success, and popularity can be diagnosed with bipolar disorder. I’ve been living with bipolar for over 17 years, and a few common things I hear others say:

  • “Why me”,
  • “Maybe if I had money I’d be happy”,
  • “Celebrities must be so happy”

From my experience, these statements are false because I’ve learned from my own research that some of the most popular people in the world suffer quietly; it’s only recently they’ve started to talk about their disorder because of the increased awareness on mental health.

Read my content on celebrities with bipolar, and you’ll learn how many of them are an advocate for bipolar awareness.

Celebrities with Bipolar – Carrie Fisher

Living with bipolar is tough, and there’s no doubt that we face a struggle that many don’t. We often look at ourselves as unlucky or different because we have a diagnosis that potentially can change our lives. However, here’s a statement which will shock you: Being diagnosed with bipolar disorder at an early age was something that made me better. It forced me to try different things and approach situations differently. I learned to handle emotional situations much better at the same time becoming very patient. It also forced me to research and find information pertaining to bipolar which otherwise I wouldn’t have had a reason to do.

Celebrities with Bipolar – Demi Lovato

A few months ago, I started this section, “Celebrities with Bipolar.” It’s meant to help all of you understand that being diagnosed with bipolar disorder does not limit your dreams or your success. Speaking from a personal point of view, when I was first diagnosed in 2000, my toughest battle was within myself. I automatically felt as though my success was limited, and my diagnosis would limit my opportunities. The only limitation is in your mind; you can accomplish anything you put your mind to. What better example than celebrities, who earn millions of dollars each year and mingle with high society. Money may not mean happiness, but in society, we often compare ourselves to those who seem to have it all. That’s why it’s important to not look at what celebrities have that we don’t, but to observe how bipolar didn’t limit their success, and it shouldn’t limit ours…right?

Celebrities with Bipolar – Russell Brand

I decided to kick off a new category for BipolarDigest.com. Reason? I have a lot of people writing to me about how different they feel because they’ve been diagnosed with Bipolar. I also get a lot of comments about how they feel worthless not being able to accomplish anything because of their diagnoses. First, let me start by saying this is all in your mind, and anything is possible as long as you put your mind to it. I believe the only reason we haven’t accomplish our goals is because we our diagnoses as an excuse to be lazy. I know I probably pissed many of you off by saying this, but it’s true. Let me explain something, and be completely transparent…
